Wedding video tropes:
When you think of wedding videos, you think of the star-wipes and "Welcome to your wedding video!" We've all seen those, and I've seen plenty of them, and it doesn't have to be like that anymore. People don't want that. They want something fresh, they want something hip, they want something they can share. They want to be able to put everything on YouTube, and the only way to do that is to make it exciting for everybody to watch.
Her style:
It's cut much more like a music video. It's not like the shaky cam of, "Let's get them cutting the cake." It's exciting cuts. It's a close-up shot of the cake and a close-up of this and then quick over here, with the music.
The digital revolution:
Basically you're doing the same thing that they're doing with the really really expensive equipment, and now we have access to make it for us people. ... I feel like the personal movie is growing. We're sick of looking at Paris Hilton and all these celebrities. We want to look at our own families like that. Why can't our own people be the ones that are important to us?
